How to show hidden files in windows 7

Windows 7 hides certain files so that they are not able to be seen when you exploring the files on your computer. The files it hides are typically Windows 7 System files that if tampered with could cause problems with the proper operation of the computer. It is possible, though, for a user or piece of software to set make a file hidden by enabling the hidden attribute in a particular file or folder's properties. Due to this it can be beneficial at times to be able to see any hidden files that may be on your computer. This tutorial will explain how to show all hidden files in Windows 7.
To enable the viewing of hidden and protected system files in Windows 7 please follow these steps:
  1. Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.

  2. Click on the Start button. This is the small round button in the lower left corner of your screen that has a Windows flag on it.

  3. Click on the Control Panel menu option.

  4. When the control panel opens you will see a screen similar to Figure 1 below.

How to hidden file in Windows 7

By default, hidden  are not shown in file listings or searches in Windows 7.
However, if hidden files and folders are in fact showing up next to your normal ones, you or maybe even a program you've installed must have configured Windows 7 to show hidden files.
If you take care not to change or move hidden files or hidden folders, there's no real harm in having them display along with your normal ones, but there's no good reason to have them show up all the time either.
Follow these easy steps to hide hidden files and folders from view in Windows 7.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: Configuring Windows 7 to hide hidden files and folders usually takes less than 5 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Click on the Windows 7 Start button and then click on Control Panel.
    Tip: In a hurry? Type folder options in the search box after clicking Start. Choose Folder Options under Control Panel from the list of results and then proceed to Step 4.
  2. Click on the Appearance and Personalization link.
    Note: If you're viewing the Small icons or Large icons view of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Simply click on Folder Options and skip to Step 4.
  3. Click on the Folder Options link.
  4. Click on the View tab on the Folder Options window.
  5. In the Advanced settings: area, locate the Hidden files and folders category.
    Note: You should be able to see the Hidden files and folders category at the bottom of the Advanced settings: text area without scrolling down. You should also see two options under the folder.
  6. Choose the Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives radio button under the Hidden files and folders category.
  7. Click OK at the bottom of the Folder Options window.
  8. Close the Control Panel window that's still open.
  9. From now on, no files or folders with the hidden attribut turned on will display in any folder view or search.
  10. You can test to see if hidden files are are actually being hidden in Windows 7 by browsing to the C:\ drive. If you do not see a folder named ProgramData, then hidden files and folders are in fact being hidden from view.
    Important: Hiding hidden files and folders is not the same as deleting them. Files and folders that are marked as hidden are simply no longer visible.

Top software to make your pc clean and running faster

Many problem on computer make it running slow in periode of time, here is some software that may help you to fix it.

MSConfig

For those who despair endlessly that their computer lags too much at start up yet don’t know how to go about fixing that, taking a look through MSConfig would be the place to start. Msconfig can by accessed by hitting Windows-R, which brings up the “Run” dialog, and typing in “msconfig”. Under the “Start Up” tab, there is a list of programs and executables that are launched when the computer starts up.
how to make my computer run faster

Having a lot of programs that start up when the computer boots is one of the main reasons that boot times are so long, for most PC users. Thus, the remedy would be to go through the entire list and uncheck anything that is unnecessary to have on boot up. If there are any entries you are not sure about, be sure to check them thoroughly on the internet before messing with them, as unchecking the wrong entries could potentially mess up the functionality of some of your programs.

CCleaner

CCleaner stands for “Crap Cleaner” and that is exactly what the program is great for. Over time, temporary files bog down your system, and take up unnecessary space in your harddrive. Thus, it is good PC maintenance practice to go through your computer once every while, and delete all the temp files.
how to make my computer run faster
It is incredibly simple: just navigate to the Cleaner tab in CCleaner, check everything you want to clean up (it would be best to leave the “Advanced” section alone, unless you know what those entries refer to), and then clean Analyze. You’ll then see an overview of what CCleaner is about to clean up and delete, and how much space CCleaner will free up for you. To permanently erase the temp files off your computer, simply click “Run Cleaner,” and all those temp files will be history.
Temp files aren’t the only junk files cluttering up your computer, however. Broken registry keys also pose a huge problem when it comes to useless files clogging up your system. Fortunately, CCleaner also has the ability to keep your registry clean.
programs that make your computer faster
To do this, use the “Registry” tab in Ccleaner. Once again, select all the entries you want CCleaner to prune, and let it do its thing. The only difference between this type of maintenance and clearing temp files is that if you accidentally delete a key that is still being used by your system, your computer can begin to function strangely. With that said, you should back up your registry settings before you give CCleaner the go ahead to torch everything. When you click “Fix Selected Issues” to delete the faulty registry entries, CCleaner will prompt you to back up your registry, and you should always click ‘yes’.

Revo Uninstaller

Revo Uninstaller is like the on-steroids version of your own Add and Remove Programs option in the Control Panel, but it also scans your computer for any files that the default uninstaller doesn’t catch, and deletes them. Revo’s layout is pretty much exactly the same as the Add and Remove Programs dialog, so it should be simple to navigate.
programs that make your computer faster
Revo also has a panel that lists all of the clean up tools that are provided with Windows systems. This menu can be accessed by clicking the Tools icon, and then the Windows Tools tab on the left.
For a more in-depth review of Revo Uninstaller, check out Jimmy’s article Revo Uninstaller Will Hunt Down Your Bloatware.

Defraggler

So once you’ve cleared all of the unnecessary files from your computer, there are now a bunch of holes where the data for those files used to be. While this may seem like no big deal to most people, having random gaps of empty space can also slow down your computer, because the rest of your files are still splintered into many different pieces, and the newly generated empty space isn’t being used efficiently. The more pieces a file is split to, the longer it takes the computer to access that file, so it makes sense to put all these pieces back together, once space has been cleared up to store whole files.
make your computer faster
Defraggler is one of the best free defragmentation tools on the market. The visual representation of the space on the computer as pieces of files are being reunited is extremely enlightening, because most people don’t realize the extent of file splintering on their systems.
But cleaning up your computer isn’t the only thing you can do to optimize how fast your computer runs. Believe it or not, the programs you choose to perform daily actions such as chatting, or opening PDFs, can also affect your computer’s running speed.

How to make windows 7 easy to manage with GOD Mode

Windows 7 GodMode is a super cool hidden developer shortcut that allows you to tweak a huge number of Windows settings from a single place. The problem is, they're listed in a single window--all 278 of them. Scrolling through them all can be a bit unwieldy. Here's how to wrangle those settings so you can manage them easier:
Step 1: Launch GodMode in Windows 7. To enable God Mode, just create a new folder and name it,

Step 2: Right-click on any group title and select "Collapse all groups."

Step 3: Presto! The 278 settings are now collapsed into 45 groups.

That's it. Now the GodMode settings are a lot easier to look through and manage.
Hope this help.

How to delete an undeletable or locked file

Have you ever run into a situation where you wanted to delete a file, but Windows simply wouldn’t allow you to do it? Personally, these things happen to me all the time, especially when I’m at a client’s house trying to get their machine clean of malware. Have you ever tried deleting a locked file using common windows commands? If so, then you’ll know that this is just not possible.
The main reason behind this is that the explorer.exe process locks files that are in use, effectively preventing you from deleting them. Usually, these files should not be touched, but sometimes, situations arise when you really need to erase some troublesome ones.
Fortunately, there are a few easy solutions to delete those files.
Solution #1: Kill explorer.exe
  • Open a command prompt
  • Navigate to the location where the locked file is
  • Press CTRL-ALT-DEL, click on “task manager”, select the Processes tab
  • Kill the explorer.exe process via the “End Process” button
  • Go back to the command prompt and delete the file
  • Bring up the task manager windows again
  • Select file->new task
  • Type explorer.exe in the “create new task” field
  • Press OK.
Solution #2: Use The Windows Recovery Console
Just stick your Windows CD in your CD tray, boot on it, and at the “Welcome to Setup” screen, press “R“. Once the recovery console has started, navigate to the location of your locked file, and delete it. Since WRC does not really start the system, the files will not be in use, and you will be able to delete them. Oh, and for all you Linux geeks out there, yes, we know, doing this via a linux live CD / USB key is also possible.
Solution #3: Use unlocker
Unlocker is a very useful freeware that will allow you to unlock any files that are currently in use by Windows. You’ll know if this is happening if you are getting any of these messages when trying to delete a file:
  • Cannot delete file: Access is denied
  • There has been a sharing violation
  • The source or destination file may be in use
  • The file is in use by another program or user
  • Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use
Unlocker will make things right again for you.
You’ll notice that right after installing the software, a new option named “unlocker” will appear when right clicking any files or folders in Windows Explorer. To unlock a locked file, just right click it, select unlocker, and the unlocker software will start. Then, click “unlock all” and close the software. Now that your file is unlocked, just delete it in Windows Explorer, as you always do. This is much simpler than solution #1 or #2, isn’t it?
I hope these three solutions will help you get rid of those hard to delete files!

The different between PHP and HTML

PHP files are just like HTML files, but they can include both HTML and PHP code. The PHP code is parsed (or executed) by the Web server when the page is accessed and the resulting output is written as HTML within the Web page. When a user accesses a PHP page, his Web browser only gets sent the HTML code, since the Web server has processed the PHP code in the background. Most PHP pages are processed so quickly that it does not noticeably slow down the loading of the Web page.

The .php extension is important, since it tells the Web server that the page may include PHP code. Therefore, it must be run through the server's PHP engine before being sent to a client's Web browser. This allows dynamic content to be generated each time the Web page is loaded, based on the variables included in the PHP code. For example, PHP pages may load objects such as the current date and time, data from form fields submitted by a user, or information from a database. Still, once the page reaches the user's Web browser, everything is formatted as HTML.

Basic defferent between HTML and XML

Today I am sharing some very basic differences between HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and eXtensible Markup Language (XML).

Differences between HTML and XML:

HTML (HyperText Markup Language)
XML (eXtensible Markup Language)

HTML has some predefined tags with some predefined meaning.

XML has no tags.

You can use the tags as it is in HTML. You can’t write new tags.

Always you have to write new tags according to your requirement.

HTML document is used to present the data to user in the required format.

XML document is used to store the data (XML document is container for the data).

HTML document may not be well formed document.

XML document must be a well-formed document.

In HTML there is no data type.

In XML some data types are defined.
EX:
<html>
<title>Example</title>
<head>Head Part</head>
<body>
This is HTML
</body>
</html>
EX:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<student>
    <name>Raj</name>
    <class>12</class>
    <roll-no>515</roll-no>
</student>
